with a free
n8n workflow.
I’m Paras. In March 2025, I shared a cold outreach automation on Reddit. People downloaded it, tried it, and asked for help getting it running. After seeing the response, I wanted to turn it into an application.

What the
workflow did
The automation found leads, verified their emails, and researched each person before writing an email.
It ran five research processes across websites, LinkedIn profiles and posts, and the wider web. It used what it found to score leads and write personalized drafts.
I used Apollo and Apify for lead discovery, Airtable for the records, Smartlead for the email campaign handoff, and PhantomBuster for LinkedIn outreach.
There were a lot of tools to connect, so I wrote setup guides and explained the costs. I shared the automation on r/n8n on March 21, 2025, then released the template for free a week later.

Why I’m building Guffles
Setup took
three or four days.
That’s how long one person said they spent getting the automation running, even with the documentation. I want people to be able to do this work without having to connect and configure every tool themselves.
What I’m working toward
I want Guffles
to handle
the replies too.
I want you to set up a campaign once, then let AI handle the outreach within the rules you choose.
It should know when to wait, when someone wants to be removed, and when a reply could lead to a meeting. You should be able to see what happened to each lead and why.
Guffles can find, verify, and prepare leads. Automated sending and reply handling are still being built. The app hasn’t caught up with everything in the original workflow yet.
